FAA grants
exemption for converting FAT ultralights (2 seat) to an ELSA beyond the Jan
31st, 2008 deadline. The exemption allows aircraft
owners who have submitted their aircraft registration (N-number)
application to the FAA on or before January 31st, 2008 to complete
the process, including issuance of an airworthiness certificate
beyond the deadline but before Jan 31st, 2010. We are fortunate to have a local DAR
